Interesting position in Valmet Pulp & Energy Business Line, Finland HR team is now open, since one of our team member is transferring to another HR team in Valmet. This serves as an excellent example of our commitment to internal mobility. The position is permanent.
As an HR Generalist, you work as a first point-of-contact to our line managers – business relies on your expertise in versatile HR related matters; recruitments, employee lifecycle topics, compensation & benefits, employee wellbeing and work ability, questions related to labor legislation and collective agreements, and compliance being the most typical ones. This is no back-office job, so you enjoy advising and coaching our customers and working with people. You also work closely and utilize the expertise of our HR network to provide best possible support for the business.
Will this be the right step for you?
We are looking for a person with hands-on attitude who can organize and prioritize their own work and make things happen. You should have master’s or bachelor’s degree from a relevant field of studies and have at least couple of years work experience within the Human Resources or General Administration field, including HR related tasks. We expect you to have experience in supporting line managers with employment lifecycle topics from hiring to exit. You will collaborate with our occupational healthcare, payroll and other HR network members. Preferably, you are also familiar with Finnish employee legislation and collective agreements (ideally Technology Industries) and have experience how to apply those in practice. Experience in working with different HR Systems is an advantage.
In this role you get to operate in different business environments since your customers come from both office and production environment. You are a strong communicator (written and verbal) both in Finnish and in English. Your primary location will be our Valmet location in Tampere, Lentokentänkatu. You should also enjoy occasional travelling to our different locations in Finland.
