Description:

QUALIFIED APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT AN APPLICATION THAT CLEARLY REFLECTS WORK EXPERIENCE THAT DEMONSTRATES THE FOLLOWING:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of recruitment/selection processes;
  • Demonstrated experience using applicant data to develop, document, and support recommended salaries;
  • Demonstrated skill in screening employment applications;
  • Demonstrated experience processing Personnel Administration (PA) and Organization Management (OM) actions in the Integrated HR Payroll System (BEACON).
  • Demonstrated work experience running system reports in Business Objects (BOBJ).
  • Demonstrated skill in using a computer-based recruiting system;
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills;
  • Demonstrated skill in organizing and compiling data;
  • Ability to apply established policies and procedures;
  • Ability to interpret and explain policies, regulations, and program standards;
  • Demonstrated skill in maintaining positive work relationships.
  • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree, typically in Human Resources or related field from an appropriately accredited institution; or
  • High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and 3 years of progressive experience in Human Resources; or
  • Equivalent combination or education and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Use web-based recruitment system (NEOGOV) to post vacancies.
  • Review applicant qualifications.
  • Determine referral candidate pools.
  • Utilize the NEOGOV system to document recruitment/selection actions.
  • Determine salary recommendations based on state salary administration policies.
  • Provide technical assistance to managers/supervisors regarding the recruitment/selection/salary administration processes.
  • Work with the Agency HR Consultant on classification and compensation, i.e. perform compensation analysis on entry and midlevel positions as needed.
  • Process Integrated Human Resources/Payroll (IHR/P) OM/PA actions
