Description:

Nick Pignato is offering an exciting opportunity in the manufacturing industry, located in Rochester, New York. We are seeking a skilled HR Generalist to join our team and play a crucial role in our human resources operations. Your focus will be on recruitment, employee retention, and handling employee inquiries.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively source potential candidates for open positions within the company.
  • Screen candidates effectively and schedule interviews to expedite the hiring process.
  • Manage onboarding processes for new hires, including entry into our HRIS system.
  • Conduct orientation sessions for new employees to familiarize them with company culture and policies.
  • Regularly conduct check-ins or pulse checks with new hires to ensure their smooth transition into the company.
  • Be the point of contact for employee inquiries and strive to resolve them in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of employee data in the HRIS system.
  • Utilize your skills in Paylocity
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations in all HR functions.
  • Foster positive employee relations and work to solve any employee issues that surface.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a HR Generalist role or similar
  • Proficient in Paylocity
  • Knowledge of Benefit Functions within HR
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Understanding of HR compliance and regulations
  • Proven experience in Employee Relations
  • Knowledge of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
