Description:

We are seeking a HR Generalist to join our client’s team in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of human resources tasks, excluding payroll and people management. This includes handling policies, onboarding, offboarding, and some aspects of employee relations. This role will be performed remotely and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the policy and compliance areas of our HR department
  • Handle the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company
  • Oversee the offboarding process for exiting employees
  • Manage certain aspects of employee relations, providing support and guidance where necessary
  • Assist with benefits administration, ensuring employees understand and utilize their benefits effectively
  • Participate in the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with our business objectives
  • Utilize HR systems such as Paylocity and ADP for various HR functions
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our company by implementing HR strategies that promote a positive work environment
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws related to human resources
  • Collaborate with other team members to improve HR processes and procedures.
  • 3-4+ years of HR Experience, ideally in a remote environment
  • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now
  • Understanding of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
  • Knowledge in Benefit Functions
  • Exceptional Communication skills
  • Ability to ensure Compliance with regulations
  • Experience in handling Employee Relations
  • Familiarity with Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
  • Experience with Paylocity software
  • Proven track record in Onboarding new employees
  • Proficiency in Benefits Administration
  • Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration
