Description:
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an HR Generalist based in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is within the Power Distribution industry and requires a detail-oriented individual who is adept at handling various HR functions and brings a strong understanding of specific skills including ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, Dayforce, Benefit Functions, Communication, Compliance, Employee Relations, and FMLA.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently handle employee relations and address any issues that may arise.
- Implement and manage ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now for HR-related operations.
- Utilize ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode for HR operations and data transfer processes.
- Oversee compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Manage benefits functions, ensuring all employee benefits are administered correctly and timely.
- Leverage Ceridian and Dayforce for HR management and employee data handling.
- Maintain open communication channels within the organization to facilitate a positive work environment.
- Handle FMLA requests and ensure they are processed in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
- Play a pivotal role in the recruitment process, from screening applicants to conducting interviews and onboarding new hires.
- Actively participate in strategic planning and implementation of HR policies and practices.
- Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
- Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
- Experience with Ceridian and Dayforce platforms
- Understanding of Benefit Functions in a HR capacity
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral
- Knowledge of Compliance regulations and procedures within HR
- Proven ability in managing Employee Relations
- Familiarity with FMLA and other relevant labor laws
- Prior experience in the Power Distribution industry is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
