Description:
Role Title: HR Generalist
Reporting to: VP Legal, Compliance & People
Location: Hybrid role, minimum 3 days onsite at Unit C, 230 Captain Cook Drive, Kurnell, 2231, NSW.
Position Type: Permanent, full-time role (Monday – Friday). Part time applications would be considered.
Compensation: $90,000+, dependent on experience + superannuation + Employee Share Options grant

We’re seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our small but mighty People team. As a key member of our team, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our company’s technology development and roadmap by focusing on employee experience, general and administrative support, policy development, and more.
This is an ideal role for an experienced HR Generalist or Business Partner looking to take the next step and challenge themselves, or an experienced HR Manager looking to move into a stand-alone role.
This role reports directly to the VP of Legal & People, meaning you’ll have full support and scope to further develop your skills in owning all aspects of People & Culture.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- For this role, we are looking for resilience, entrepreneurial attitude and willingness to contribute to our mission over pedigree of experience. That said, it would be helpful if you are able to demonstrate one or more of the following:
- a) Tertiary qualification in human resources, or business administration, or a related field.
- b) 5+ years of experience in a HR role or related field.
- The following are essential skills and experiences we will ask you to demonstrate:
- 1) Strong understanding and ability to manage HRIS workflows, with experience with BambooHR being a strong plus.
- 2) Some understanding of ATS workflows, with experience with Lever a plus.
- 3) Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- 4) Proven ability to analyse HR data and communicate that data to relevant stakeholders, including employees and senior leadership.
- 5) Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced start up environment which requires the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and stakeholders simultaneously.

Responsibilities:
- Providing agile, human and personal HR support to our hybrid 40-person team. You will be the first port of call for all employee inquiries, responsible for managing and analysing employee data, spotting data trends and tracking problem areas, as well as keeping our HRIS up to date.
- Managing ER issues end to end and providing thoughtful, meaningful support to our employees.
- Developing and implementing SunDrive’s policies and procedures, ensuring that they are simple, scalable, human-centricas well as compliant with employment laws and regulations.
- Owing the onboarding and offboarding process for all employees. This means you will be responsible for developing engaging ways to welcome new members to the team, and setting them up for success, plus providing a red-carpet exit for anyone leaving SunDrive.
- Delivering our learning and developing calendar including internal high impact training sessions for employees and fostering continuous development opportunities across all teams.
- Partnering to continuously improve SunDrive’s compensation and performance programs so that they are fair, equitable, transparent and scalable.
- Responsibility for coordinating any talent acquisition activities including arranging interviews, or from time to time, helping to source candidates.
- Overseeing general office and facility operations including managing our snacks and kitchen supplies or coordinating with contractors.
