Description:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One (1) to three (3) years of human resource or similar field experience is preferred
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Clear background check in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and Vista Care’s best practices
  • Consistently demonstrates effective decision-making abilities, strong communication skills, and computer literacy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrate ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn Vista Care’s HRIS and talent management systems

EDUCATION

  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • A college, or university degree or the equivalent is preferred. Degree in Human Resources, Human Services, or a similar field preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting from HRIS and other systems
  • Monitoring HR phone line and email
  • Assist on-site with access to corporate office and addressing visitors to HR Department
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees who reach out to or stop in for support from HR Department
  • Partner with Operations Leaders on Worker’s Comp claims
  • Administer and manage employee leave requests
  • Maintain company org charts and records
  • Complete employee relations investigations as assigned
  • Assist with drafting routine disciplinary action documents, performance improvement plans, etc.
  • Attends ANE debriefs
  • Provide HR Policy guidance and interpretation
  • Other duties as assigned
