Description:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- One (1) to three (3) years of human resource or similar field experience is preferred
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
- Must be 18 years of age
- Clear background check in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and Vista Care’s best practices
- Consistently demonstrates effective decision-making abilities, strong communication skills, and computer literacy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrate ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Demonstrated knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn Vista Care’s HRIS and talent management systems
EDUCATION
- HS Diploma or GED required
- A college, or university degree or the equivalent is preferred. Degree in Human Resources, Human Services, or a similar field preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting from HRIS and other systems
- Monitoring HR phone line and email
- Assist on-site with access to corporate office and addressing visitors to HR Department
- Provide excellent customer service to employees who reach out to or stop in for support from HR Department
- Partner with Operations Leaders on Worker’s Comp claims
- Administer and manage employee leave requests
- Maintain company org charts and records
- Complete employee relations investigations as assigned
- Assist with drafting routine disciplinary action documents, performance improvement plans, etc.
- Attends ANE debriefs
- Provide HR Policy guidance and interpretation
- Other duties as assigned
