We are currently looking for an HR Generalist to drive our HR Operations in Austria and Switzerland.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Public Administration or Economics or equivalent working experience
- Previous experience as HR Generalist is an asset
- Good knowledge / readiness to acquaint yourself with the employment legal framework and regulations in Austria and Switzerland
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills in German and English, both verbal and written
- Natural curiosity, readiness to learn and customer-service mindset
- High integrity to safeguard compliance standards and company values
- Ability to manage multiple, complex issues, think on your feet and prioritize projects
- Attention to detail, pragmatic approach and strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent Office 365 skills; previous experience with an HRIS is an asset
Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior business leadership in Austria and Switzerland as well as with global and regional HR management to develop and implement effective HR policies and practices which will support the strategic growth and operations of the business.
- Provide HR expertise in the areas of employee relations, compensation, employee lifecycle, etc.
- Collaborate with the global HR team to champion and accelerate a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired to deliver top business results.
- Support Westernacher employees in Austria and Switzerland during the whole employee lifecycle – from contract creation, preboarding, onboarding, and development to offboarding.
- Prepare internal documentation such as contracts, annexes, certificate of employment, reports, etc.
- Maintain digital and paper employee files as per local and global compliance standards
- Collaborate with external vendors and partners, e.g. payroll company, legal advisors, auditors, pension and healthcare providers, social benefit providers, tax authorities, etc.
