Description:
Located in Wilton, NH, Kimball Physics, Inc. is a company led by physicists and composed of a team of professional and creative co-workers – all of whom share the desire to advance humankind by doing good physics and having fun while doing so. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced HR Generalist to join our team.
The campus is an informal atmosphere in a rural location surrounded by rolling hills, deep woods, quiet ponds and many hiking trails.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The HR Generalist will be responsible for overseeing various human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices and be adept at handling diverse HR issues with professionalism and discretion.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for all HR-related inquiries from employees
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Implements new hire orientation.
- Assists in administrating benefits, compensation, payroll and employee performance programs.
- Responsible for all administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientation, stay interviews, exit interviews, including data entry in the HRIS.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Assists with employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
- Participates in developing company policies, guidelines and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal employment laws and regulations.
