Description:

JOB OVERVIEW:

As a HR Intern at Playbook Engineering, you will have a chance to gather hands-on experience in both human resources and office management. The role involves supporting HR functions, assisting with office administration, and providing valuable input to help improve processes. You will collaborate closely with the HR team, external accountancy, and office management, gaining well-rounded exposure to different aspects of business operations.

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIREMENTS:

  • Student’ status: Must be an active university student (student’s card) with a flexible study schedule (availability minumum 32 hours per week)
  • Interest in HR & Office Administration: Strong interest in both human resources and office management functions. Some prior HR or office administrative experience or relevant coursework will be an advantage.
  • Organisational and Communication Skills: Very good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English to interact with employees and external vendors.
  • Proactive Attitude: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and take initiative in resolving issues.
  • Tech-Savvy: Good knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a willingness to learn new tools and software.

Responsibilities:

  • Document Preparation & Management: Assist in preparing and organising HR-related documents, including contracts, agreements, and employee files and send documents to employees for signatures, monitor timely delivery and assist in contact with external accountancy for HR documentation. Support the creation of regular reports on HR and office activities
  • Recruitment Support: Assist with the recruitment process by managing the internal Applicant Tracking System (ATS), scheduling interviews, and coordinating with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Employee Support: Provide advice to employees on HR matters, including answering queries and providing assistance with HR policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Office and Administrative Tasks: Assist with general office duties such as filing, organizing, and maintaining office supplies. Maintain contact with service providers, ensuring smooth operations and timely deliveries. Assist with office facilities, including addressing any maintenance needs or liaising with vendors when necessary.
  • Office Environment: Contribute to a positive office atmosphere by helping to manage workspaces and ensuring that employees have what they need for a productive environment. Help coordinate office meetings, events, and employee gatherings by arranging logistics and preparing necessary materials.
