Description:

RECRUITMENT DEPARTMENT:

  • Maintain a data base of existing applications
  • Ensure all new applications received are included on the data base
  • Monitor internal recruitment and external recruitment email addresses and add applications to the data base
  • Update all job advertisements based on the signed off role profile
  • Place all advertisements on the internal and approved external job portals
  • Ensure that all vacancies are published internally
  • Remove job ads from notice boards
  • Short list applicants against minimum requirements and address any queries with hiring the Recruitment Manager
  • Ensure all arrangements are made timeously for all interviews including confirmation of interview attendance, confirmation of venue, document preparation, etc.
  • Participate as a member of the interview panel as and when required
  • Conduct risk assessments on short listed applicants as and when required
  • Conduct employment reference checks on identified positions as and when required
  • Request pro forma payslips from the Payroll Supervisor
  • Prepare new employee employment pack for all new appointees
  • Forward the new employee employment pack to the new employee
  • Ensure all documents, fully completed, are received from the newly appointed employee
  • Forward the full new employee engagement pack to the Payroll Supervisor
  • Regret unsuccessful candidates
  • Ensure HR Generalist is provided with regular status updates on the progress of all positions actively being recruited
  • Partner with hiring line manger to arrange for the induction of new recruits
  • Ensure a welcome pack is available for all newly appointed employees at Head Office
  • Ensure all recruitment documentation is received after the interviews are concluded and filed according to agreed standards
  • Co-ordinate the recruitment of learners across the various learnership intakes
