JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced HR IT Project Manager to manage and lead various projects in a busy and critical HR Technology portfolio. This role will be responsible for managing projects of varying complexity that drive business value across several lines of business. Reporting directly to the Director of HRT Program Management, this role will have the opportunity to lead and/or contribute to a variety of HR transformation projects that enhance the employee experience across a broad HR technology landscape. We are looking for an articulate project manager who is ambitious and detail oriented. The ideal candidate will have prior project and portfolio management expertise, with a proven track record for delivering projects in these areas: Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Workforce Management, Timekeeping.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 3+ years of experience managing highly visible and critical enterprise HR/Technology projects
- Proficient in Microsoft suite of products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and MS Project
- Detail oriented with strong program and project management competencies.
- Ability to step into projects already in progress, or in need of rescue and effectively assume a leadership role.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Preferred
- Certified Project Management Professional
- Certified Scrum Master and/or Product Owner
- Prior PM experience managing HRT projects
- Solution-oriented mindset who identifies and acknowledges challenges swiftly and directly; offers solutions and course-corrects as needed
The expected Total Compensation for this role is $85,863 - $103,000 + annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
Responsibilities:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead HR Technology projects through activities including: definition of scope, building realistic project plans, identification of resources needed to successfully execute project deliverables, monitoring of project finances, and communication of project risks and mitigation strategies
- Build and manage resources, processes, systems and controls to effectively execute the HRT program management functions.
- Provide leadership for a multi-disciplinary delivery team (Business Analysts, Developers, Quality Analysts and Product Owners) to ensure successful implementation of key initiatives across the employee-facing web, mobile, and mobile app application portfolio.
- Engage and proactively communicate with stakeholders to keep them informed of project and program status, milestones, key decisions, issues, dependencies and operational planning considerations
- Develop and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with all constituents including business and IT peers and leaders
- Demonstrate timely delivery of software projects based upon the portfolio roadmap, expectations of stakeholders, and operational dependencies on new technology solutions
- Serve as a subject matter expert in routinely briefing key stakeholders, steering committees, etc. on different aspects of project delivery to support key decisions
- Demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify highly technical or complex problems into a logical presentation format
- Manage relationships with 3rd party vendors, contract negotiations, invoice payment and tracking
- Other duties as assigned
