Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

The HR Manager is responsible for managing the human resources department, ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies, and fostering a positive work environment. The role involves overseeing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compliance with labor laws, and strategic HR planning to support business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes.
  • Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture by addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts.
  • Implement employee engagement initiatives to improve morale and productivity.
  • Manage employee grievances and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies
  • Assess training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
  • Implement learning and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
  • Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
  • Maintains human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals.
  • Participate in organizational change initiatives and support leadership in managing change.
  • Maintains human resource staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Any other activities assigned by ED/CEO.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in HR management or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
