Job Title: Human Resources Manager
Department: Human Resources
Immediate Supervisor Title: Chief Operating Officer
Job Supervisory Responsibilities:Human Resources Assistant, Human Resources Senior Specialist, Human Resources Coordinator, Education Coordinator, Healthcare Recruiter, and Payroll Specialist
General Summary: An exempt, management position responsible for directing and coordinating the policies and practices of human resources including staffing, payroll, compensation, employee relations, benefits administration, all applicable regulatory and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).

Responsibilities:
- Ensures the development of departmental plans, goals, mission, policies/procedures, budget. Ensures selection, training, monitoring, and evaluation of departmental staff.
- Develops/implements human resources plan for clinic including recruitment, selection, promotion/transfer, orientation, compensation administration, and labor relations in collaboration with management team. Educates/advises administrative and clinical managers on personnel issues including termination, labor disputes, morale.
- Oversees the conduct of compensation surveys and recommends changes to ensure clinic remains competitive with market rates for wages/salaries and benefits.
- Maintains/monitors records of worker’s compensation, equal employment opportunity (EEO), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), unemployment, and other employee claims. Reviews exit interview data. Recommends changes to policy and training to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Recommends and facilitates employee recognition efforts and events. Ensures employee assistance is available for emergency relief.
Education:Bachelor’s degree in business administration or human resources strongly preferred. Additional education also desirable.
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in personnel management with progressively increasing level of responsibility. Minimum two years in the health care industry preferred
