REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Proven experience as an HR manager and knowledge of Benelux employment law essential
- Track record of managing demanding and diverse client relationships
- Demonstrable project management skills plus significant experience in facilitating or delivering training

- Experience of multi-national, fast-paced, progressive commercial organizations

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
A 6-month contract opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to join the Disney business in Amsterdam.
This talented team is focused on developing and implementing HR plans and objectives for the Benelux region. Working with the HR Director and two peers, you will provide proactive and strategic HR services, alongside regional specialist and country teams, to support substantial growth in the area.
Success in this role requires establishing strong working relationships with existing HR Partners at the regional level and with segment partners.
This role will require you to be onsite 4 days a week with one day working from home.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Collaborate with the HR Centres of Excellence, based in London, to draw on specialist resources in Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, and Compensation & Benefits. Work with these teams to develop their knowledge of the Benelux Disney businesses and facilitate relationship building.
- Be the facilitator of improvement processes concerning team performance, organizational design, change management and internal communication. Work with the business to identify challenges and lead change as needed.
- Give advice on remuneration and support the merit process in order to achieve internal and external equity and internal compliance against budgetary and performance-related criteria.
- Apply commercial thinking and an understanding of the business to provide pragmatic and informed HR solutions and ideas which meet the client groups’ business needs.
- Proactively partner with key business and HR team members developing good relationships, which enable a solution- orientated approach to delivering HR initiatives.
- Proactively work with country teams to ensure relevant practical solutions are in place to respond swiftly to headcount changes. Take active responsibility to review and adjust recruitment needs and take/direct actions to rectify or improve.
- Manage the administrative Headcount processes via SAP & Workday but also able to work with Coupa.
