Description:

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Typically, 5-7 years of experience in various HR roles (e.g., HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, HR Specialist) is required.
  • Experience in a supervisory or management position is often necessary, with experience leading HR teams or departments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for dealing with employees, executives, and external stakeholders
  • High ethical standards and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to navigate and adjust to changing circumstances in a dynamic work environment.
  • Comfort with using tools like Excel or specialized HR analytics software for reporting and tracking metrics
  • Ability to analyze HR metrics, such as turnover rates, employee engagement, and performance, to make informed decisions.
  • Sensitivity to and understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds, promoting inclusivity and diversity in the workplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, selection, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs.
  • Develop strategies that align with company Goals and Budgets.
  • Manage external recruiting agencies.
  • Act as a liaison between employees and management to resolve issues or conflicts.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture by ensuring initiatives to improve employee morale and engagement are being rolled out.
  • Address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary actions in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Mediate disputes and facilitate conflict resolution between employees or departments.
  • Identify skill gaps and training needs within the organization.
  • Support employee career growth by providing learning opportunities and mentorship programs.
  • Ensure the organization complies with labor laws, regulations, and best HR practices.
  • Update and implement HR policies in line with legal and organizational changes.
  • Oversee compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Handle issues related to employee contracts, immigration, and work permits where necessary.
