Description:

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager (Compensation & Benefits / Payroll) to lead our C&B team in the education sector. This role will oversee payroll processing for approximately 1,500 employees in Singapore and ensure compliance with local regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of HR experience , with a strong focus on Compensation & Benefits and Payroll .
  • Proven experience leading a team in payroll and C&B functions.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws, payroll regulations, and statutory contributions .
  • Expert proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
  • Meticulous, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of 4-5 HR professionals in the Compensation & Benefits (C&B) team.
  • Oversee and review the end-to-end payroll processing to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Approve payroll reports and ensure proper documentation and audits.
  • Develop and enhance C&B policies , including salary structures, benefits administration, and incentive programs.
  • Conduct periodic salary benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive compensation packages.
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including insurance, leave, and other welfare initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with MOM regulations, CPF contributions, IRAS tax reporting, and other statutory requirements .
  • Utilize strong Excel skills for payroll calculations, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with finance and other departments for payroll reconciliation and budgeting.
  • Drive process improvements and system enhancements for efficiency and accuracy in payroll and C&B functions.
