Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure exceptional onboarding experiences for new joiners in the Porto office and remotely in Portugal
  • Guarantee smooth and effective offboarding processes for team members in Portugal
  • Design and implement dynamic teambuilding events to foster collaboration within the company
  • Effectively advise and coach managers and employees on leave requests/issues, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters ensuring fair treatment, legal compliance, and adherence to Emergn practices/policies
  • Promote strong supporting HR practices and collaboration
  • Work closely with our Portugal location lead and take on some Office Management duties
  • Document process flows and create easy to follow policies for
  • Recommend new procedures and policies for improving employee experience as well as the efficiency of HR department and company

This job might be for you if you have

  • 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist / Manager working in a global organization
  • Advanced knowledge of employment and labor laws in Portugal
  • Excellent communication skills in both Portuguese and English
  • Well-developed interpersonal, collaboration and teaming skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
  • A problem-solving mindset, with ability to work cross-functionally to understand and describe the problem and propose solutions
