Position: HR Manager – Employee Relations
Location: Home Based with attendance to London offices
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30.

Previous experience will include:

  • CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above) and relevant experience within employee relations
  • Experience and understanding of the employment litigation process
  • Experience of managing a team
  • Ability to handle issues and queries with professionalism.
  • Ability to work within tight and conflicting timeframes
  • Knowledge and experience of Subject Access Requests and Data Protection procedures, in line with GDPR.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Excellent customer service approach and the ability to handle issues and queries with professionalism.Ability to work within tight and conflicting timeframes

Responsibilities:

As a HR Manager – Employee Relations at Rendall & Rittner, you will will work closely with the Head of HR Business Partnering, the wider HR team to provide guidance and advice on employee relations cases and policy. The role is responsible for overseeing all employee relations activity ensuring fair and respectful treatment of employees, consistent with our core business values and objectives. Responsibilities include

  • Managing and developing the team of ER Advisors
  • Acting as the key interface with our external legal support provider to ensure compliance and best practice
  • Provide sound, commercial advice on cases end to end, including disciplinary, grievance, probation, appeals and wellbeing cases
  • Prepare documentation for Employment Tribunals, working with our external legal support
  • Analyse data, identify trends and present to Head of HR Business Partnering, as required
  • Support in the development of policies and procedures
  • Provide training and coaching on ER matters for managers
  • Responsible for ensuring team KPIs are met
  • Manage TUPE transfers, both in and out, and relevant change programmesUndertake up to date knowledge of employment law practices and provide updates for the business where required
