Grizzly Security Armored Express is currently seeking to fill an HR Manager position at our Corporate Office in Kalispell Montana.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary: Grizzly Security is seeking to add an HR Manager to our team. The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. The duties of this position include but are not limited to, payroll administration, managing job descriptions, recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, employee relations, policy implementation, benefits administration, performance evaluation and employment law compliance. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter that demonstrates a history of positive leadership and communication skills. This position is Mon-Fri and may require periodic travel to our outlying markets in Montana.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree (HR degree preferred)
- Minimum of five years of human resource experience
- Minimum one year of recruitment experience required; two plus years preferred
- Solid understanding of federal and state employment regulations
- Working knowledge of office processes
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Intermediate skills in Paylocity, Excel, Word and Power Point
- Professional verbal, technical and written communication skills with employees, management and customers.

o Reviewing resumes and screening applicants

o Maintain applicant tracking documentation
o Pre-employment screening
o Ensure accurate documentation
o Selection of qualified candidates
- Onboarding
o Conduct new hire orientation
o Prepare New Hire/Onboarding packets
o Ensure proper legal employment documentation
o Submission and monitoring of Board of Private Security licensure
o Preparation of paperwork needed to create new employee profile
- Benefits Administration
o Enrollment and termination of employees in employee benefits programs
o Auditing and reporting for benefits programs
o Enrollment and administration related to the company 401 (k) Plan
o Auditing and reporting related to the company 401 (k) Plan
- Payroll Administration
o Auditing and reporting of timekeeping reports
o PTO balances
o Assist in the preparation of payroll
o Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding timekeeping, PTO, benefits, legal requirements, and policies
- HR Administration
o Maintain employee files and handle changes in employee status
o Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment and recommended best practices
o Maintain and update employee directory both internally and externally
o Oversee and manage performance reviews
o Oversight of employee disciplinary issues
o Document and report all Workman Comp claims
o Document any driving incidents
o Manage sensitive and confidential matters
o Protect the security of employee information, data and files

o Coordinate with Senior Management and supervisory teams
