As our HR Manager, you will shape our people strategies, ensure compliance with Canadian and US labor laws, and drive employee engagement.
This leadership role offers the opportunity to develop and lead HR functions while collaborating closely with the Administration Director and the leadership team. You will play a key role in aligning our people strategies with business objectives, ensuring a seamless HR approach across both Canadian and US operations.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies that align with JMT’s growth objectives, fostering a high-performing organization across Canadian and US teams.
- Talent Acquisition and Onboarding: Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent, streamline the hiring process, and create effective onboarding programs for both Canadian and US employees.
- Policy Development and Compliance: Ensure HR policies comply with Canadian and US labor laws, promoting transparency, equity, and legal adherence across borders.
- Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, addressing workplace concerns, resolving conflicts, and ensuring a positive and inclusive culture.
- Performance Management: Improve and manage performance review processes, enabling leaders to drive results and build high-performing teams.
- Training and Development: Create and implement programs to support professional growth, leadership development, and compliance training for Canadian and US regulations.
- HR Analytics: Utilize HR data to track key metrics, assess progress, and inform decision-making across Canadian and US operations.
- Health and Safety: Oversee workplace health and safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and prioritizing employee well-being in both countries.
