Role summary:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Human Resources Manager to join our dynamic team based in Haywards Heath. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of HR experience, ideally within an SME environment and possess a CIPD qualification. The role demands a strong background in HR practices, with technical proficiency in Excel to support data-driven decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity to lead HR strategy, manage day-to-day HR operations and provide insights that shape our workforce and company culture.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, ideally in an SME environment
- CIPD qualified (minimum Level 5)
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to make data-led decisions and provide strategic HR insights
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business objectives
- Assisting with recruitment - including job postings, sourcing, interviewing and onboarding
- Provide expert advice and support on HR matters to managers and employees across the organisation
- Prepare HR reports and use Excel to analyse workforce data and trends to inform decision-making
- Oversee employee relations, handling complex disciplinary, grievance and performance management cases
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive workplace culture
- Manage employee benefits and co ordinate payroll coordination changes
- Monitor and report on HR metrics to provide insights and support strategic decisions
- Lead initiatives to improve HR processes and promote operational efficiency.
- Handle employee exit processes, including conducting exit interviews and managing offboarding
