Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR professional to oversea all HR practices and policies for the UK business unit. As a HR Manager you will be a true partner to the business unit, providing sound HR expertise and guidance to employees and management. You’ll also play an important role in driving the global people plan / initiatives throughout your local area. This a standalone role in the UK however, you will be part of a global HR organisation and play a key role in UK the leadership team.
What will you be doing?
- Contribute to the implementation of HR policies and processes in own area(s) of expertise (e.g. performance management, rewards, talent management).
- Contribute to the implementation of group HR policies to local/country circumstances and processes in line with the group HR strategy.
- Provides managers with advice and recommendations for actions on issues related to own field of HR expertise and support managers in people-related decision making. Works as a liaison between business and HR.
- Coordinate and manage all payroll processing activities with the external provider.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
What will you need?
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or HR all related field.
- Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive.
- Proven experience in dealing with Payroll i.e. managed payroll service.
- People-oriented and results-driven.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
