POSITION OVERVIEW
PDW is seeking an HR Manager to join our team, contributing to the management of HR functions including HR compliance, benefits management, OSHA compliance, and the management of our HRIS system, UKG Ready.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of HR management experience or as a Generalist, preferably in a growing manufacturing organization.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, OSHA regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with HRIS systems, particularly UKG Ready, and remote collaboration tools, like Slack.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with others.
- Proven track record of handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred.
- Familiarity with ITAR regulations are a plus.

- Oversee HR compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including OSHA regulations in a manufacturing environment.
- Manage benefits administration and employee relations.
- Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures tailored for a distributed workforce.
- Administer the HRIS (UKG Ready) and ensure accurate data management across all locations.
- Support talent acquisition, onboarding processes, and orientation programs.
- Conduct training sessions on compliance, OSHA standards, and benefits management, emphasizing accessibility for local and remote staff.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, ensuring effective communication across time zones.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with management to enhance employee engagement and retention strategies.
- Assist in the development of HR strategies that align with company goals, focusing on workforce planning and performance management
