Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are recruiting for an experienced Human Resource Manager to lead and develop our HR strategies, ensuring the continued success of our resort’s operations. This role will focus on recruitment, employee relations, training and development, compliance, and enhancing employee engagement. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a proven track record in HR management preferably within a hospitality or customer service environment, and the ability to build a positive work culture. Applications from those seeking a part time role - minimum 30 hours per week are welcomed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding for resort positions.
- Implement and oversee employee training and development programs to enhance skills and plan for career progression.
- Working with the department heads to develop a positive and collaborative work environment through employee engagement and recognition initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with employment law and company policies, managing employee relations and resolving conflicts.
- Manage performance appraisals and feedback processes to promote continuous improvement and accountability.
- Work closely with department heads to align HR strategies with the resort’s operational goals.
- Handle payroll processing, benefits administration, and other HR-related administrative tasks.
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to build a welcoming and respectful workplace.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices
