We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Position: HR Manager
Job Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4 years + of progressive experience in HR management roles, preferably in the education industry.
  • Thorough understanding of HR best practices.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Female candidates between the ages of 25-35 years are strongly advised to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee records, ensuring adherence to policy and legal standards for personnel files, benefits, and performance reviews.
  • Spearhead recruitment efforts by crafting precise job descriptions, advertising openings, and overseeing the hiring process.
  • Offer guidance and counseling on company policies and procedures to employees as needed.
  • Conduct thorough performance management and appraisal processes to drive employee development and organizational success.
  • Conduct regular reviews of employment conditions to ensure legal compliance.
  • Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Efficiently process payroll, including timesheet entry, deduction calculation, and paycheck distribution.
  • Develop and execute effective onboarding strategies to facilitate smooth transitions for new hires.
  • Provide fair and consistent support in managing disciplinary and grievance issues.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including managing contracts and work permits.
  • Prepare and present insightful HR reports and analytics to support strategic decision making.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as delegated by management.
