Description:

Overview:
The HR Manager, as a strategic partner, will provide senior level support to the HRD and leadership team in relation to the HR Transformation journey within WECA. The scope will include the integration of all People Processes across all categories, functions and geographies in WECA for the respective functions. Establishing and building all HR Capabilities i.e. systems, processes and act as coach for HR Team. The scope of this role will include bottlers, engaging with their HR team for the purposes of building African Capabilities across African markets. Will include Distributors when required.
The HRM provide Leadership and managers coaching and subject matter expertise to drive performance improvements and successful outcomes of personnel challenges. They will be a key resource for internal team members regarding performance development and career growth. They will collaborate with the HR CoEs to cultivate an environment where everyone within WECA can thrive.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads organisational development initiatives within and between the country’s HR teams such as change management, projects, organisation effectiveness, career development, talent management, JVs, expansion programs etc.
  • Establishing and building all HR Capabilities i.e. systems, processes and act as a coach for the WECA HR Team
  • Driving and Collating HR Metrics providing insights based on metrics to drive business decisions
  • Activate culture engagement programs/celebrations by partnering with LT and country HR teams
  • Conducts regular in-market audits to ensure sound governance and GCS compliance and identify areas for improvement and focus.
  • Drives day-to-day HR support for Corporate Office employees across WECA.
  • Understands the culture within teams and proactively works on developing the culture and engagement across all stakeholders
  • Builds and develops strong relationships within the broader Bottler and Distributor HR communities to diagnose capability gaps and provide SME advice in closing the gaps.
  • Identify Market opportunities to partner and build African talent.
  • Leads HR transformation capability projects within bottlers to develop African Talent
  • Monitors the effectiveness of the programs and takes action to ensure key objectives and overall goals are met for both Pepsico and Bottler teams.
  • Ensure Line Management development programs including Bottlers and distributors as per business agreements.
  • Engage and communicate with key stakeholders on organisational change, support in dealing with uncertainty and ambiguity and contribute to ensure appropriate cascading.
  • Build strong trusting relationships and communication channels within the business and HR community.
  • Contribute to managing PPP at the market level (within key African Markets) and submit inputs to execute outcomes
  • Leading and supporting key HR transformation projects across WECA
  • Monitor and track the completion of Global Survey Administration and handle internal escalations
  • Coordinate all reward and recognition programs for WECA

Qualifications:

  • Related Tertiary Qualification
  • Minimum of 8 year’s working experience in HR, preferable in matrixed FMCG environment
  • Proven and credible HR business partnering experience at senior business leader levels
  • Strong knowledge of HR (best) practices
  • Experienced in a matrixed environment
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal influencing skills
  • Agile, inquisitive approach focused on continuous improvement
  • Experience working across African geographies and cultures
  • Proven change Management Experience
