GENERAL DESCRIPTION

This job description does not contain all of the tasks and responsibilities but is a guide to the performance of the work. The HR & Office Assistant supports the HR Manager and the Plant Manager in their tasks and responsibilities regarding field human resources and other office requirements.
Within the strategy of the company safety and environment have top priority which is guaranteed by quality, order and cleanliness and training at every position in the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Strong alignment with the HR Team
  • Representation of the company to 3rd parties (authorities, health insurance, etc.) in local language
  • Personnel administration incl. processing of all correspondence
  • Supporting employees in all labour law related inquiries that impact the existing employment with Sonoco
  • Recording working hours, sick days and vacation days (T&A)
  • Creation and amendment of employment contracts, statements and references
  • Creation of evaluations, reports and statistics
  • Close cross-functional collaboration on projects with colleagues at the plant
  • Contact person for internal stake holders in all matters concerning the field of human resource
  • Carries out work which is assigned by the HR Manager
