We are seeking an HR Officer to join our team
You will be required to work as a partner to the HRBP and Operations to provide the full range of HR services that enables them to achieve their business objectives so as to deliver excellent service within our Supply Chain function. You will be required to support the HR function through continuous improvement and HR excellence.
The successful candidates main responsibilities include (not limited to):
- Responsible for HR administration, including resourcing, induction process, probation, off boarding, retirement, HR KPIs, resolving payroll queries, and processing status changes to the HR Operation team
- Support managers in matters such as performance management, absence management, problem solving, engagement etc.
- Work closely with external agencies on recruitment activity and requirements.
- Co-ordinate and participate in Company Branding initiatives and Community Programmes.
- Support and assist managers in employee relation matters including investigations, disciplinary meetings and hearings. This will involve activities such as attending meetings, taking minutes and drafting letters.
- Provide advice on all HR policies to Managers and colleagues to promote consistent and fair application.
- Support the HRBP in the delivery of the engagement framework to create high performing teams, continuous improvement, development, and a high performing culture across the network.
- Be a resource to individual employees as appropriate: provide advice and support as required, facilitate problem solving and be a point of contact.
- Maintain excellent relationships with managers and colleagues.
- Ensure accurate and proper record-keeping of employee information in electronic and digital format
Essential Qualifications
- Qualification in HR/Business related discipline or equivalent.
- CIPD or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar HR role.
Essential Skills
- Excellent written, communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to work on your own initiative and manage competing priorities.
- Working knowledge of employment legislation with the ability to confidently and competently advise on same.
- Ability to solve problems in a fast-moving environment and through communicating with others.
- Strong analytical and computer skills in all areas of Microsoft Office.
- Have a consistent work methodology with attention to detail.
- Must be flexible in working hours as the role may require attendance on site for meetings on night shifts etc.
- Team player, should be flexible, have the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
