The HR Operation/Payroll Specialist aims to deliver a full spectrum of HR services to the employees during their entire life cycle with the company. This person will also be heavily involved in payroll operations with the dedicated country/countries, including pre-payroll input, liaising with the payroll vendor, validating the payroll report and completing required documents by the global payroll team.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate/conduct all workforce administration processes in accordance with SLA - onboarding/off-boarding, probation management, employment verification, contract & document management, etc
  • Handle employee inquiries as tier 1 support and maintain inquiry FAQ to establish the knowledge database
  • Employee timesheet, leave administration, compensation data collection for payroll processing
  • Enrollment and termination for commercial insurance
  • Support on international assignment or relocation, work with Global Mobility team on visa/immigration service, provide guidance and support on employees’ lodging, kids’ education, culture adoption etc., and facilitate the repatriation process
  • Maintenance of employee and organization data in the HR Information System, and generate HR function data dashboards and reports
  • Manage the quality control process in order to ensure that the HR operation services meet employee expectations as well as comply with local labor laws and legislations
  • Ensure the improvement and optimization of the administration processes, including systems and tooling
  • Manage and execute regular and off-cycle payroll activities, monitor end-to-end payroll process and be responsible for payroll validation to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Design payroll service delivery and employee support framework to address business concerns and employees’ inquiries
  • Manage, assess, and control payroll related vendors, able to identify all discrepancies in vendor’s report.
  • Be responsible for the vendor onboarding/termination process
  • Execute annual payroll activities like audit, payroll calendar release, bonus payment, merit increase, etc
  • Work with payroll vendors for newly opened countries payroll setup
  • Suggest and participate payroll related projects, like process harmonization, payroll reports integration, payroll date clean-up etc
