The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HR Projects Operational Excellence Professional to support and execute transformation initiatives across our global HR function. This role will focus on enhancing operational efficiency, driving process improvement, and ensuring that our people operations are aligned with our commercial objectives. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across global people teams, leveraging best practices and centres of excellence to transform processes, manage change, and support our strategic goals.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Process Mapping & Re-engineering: Analyse, document, and optimise “as-is” HR processes, identifying opportunities to streamline and improve efficiency. Develop “to-be” processes in alignment with global strategic priorities and operational goals.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, particularly within global HR teams and key centres of excellence. Communicate effectively to gain buy-in, align priorities, and ensure smooth implementation of process changes.
  • Operational Excellence Initiatives: be subject matter expert for initiatives to embed operational excellence across the HR function, applying Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies to eliminate inefficiencies, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
  • Workshop Facilitation: Design and facilitate workshops with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyse current processes, brainstorm solutions, and collaboratively build optimised workflows.
  • Project Management & Delivery: Drive end-to-end delivery of key HR transformation projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and scope are met. Support NCC Group HR Project Manager to guide teams through each phase of project execution.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilise data analysis and process metrics to assess impact, identify pain points, and track improvements across initiatives. Generate insights and make recommendations to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with HR, IT, Finance, and other business units to align HR operational processes with broader organisational goals. Partner with centres of excellence to bring leading practices and insights into HR operations.
  • Change Management: Support and lead change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and tools.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: Demonstrable experience in an operational excellence, process improvement, or HR transformation role within a complex, global organisation.
  • Process Improvement Expertise: Proven experience with process mapping, re-engineering, and applying process improvement methodologies within HR or people operations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong skills in stakeholder engagement and relationship building across global, cross-functional teams.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated success in delivering transformation projects, preferably within HR or a similar function, using agile and project management methodologies.
  • Workshop Facilitation: Experience in designing and leading workshops with diverse teams to foster collaborative problem-solving and solution-building.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to leverage data, KPIs, and metrics to identify gaps, track improvements, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Commercial Mindset: Business acumen with the ability to understand and align HR processes with broader organizational goals, ensuring improvements add measurable value.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to a wide audience and to drive engagement with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Systems: Familiarity with HR technology platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) and their role in supporting HR process efficiency.
