HR Operations Consultant
Position Summary:
The HR Operations Consultant leads HR programs and projects, conducts research to identify issues, and provides advice and recommendations for resolving daily HR challenges. The HR Operations Consultant may formulate strategic plans, assist with special projects, and implement HR technology.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with little direction.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, functions, methods and best practices.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or G-Suite

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human resources or related field preferred; or equivalent work experience in Human Resources.
  • Minimum five years of professional-level experience in human resources.
  • Current HRCI PHR or SHRM-C

Responsibilities:

  • Advises management on the formulation and administration of plans and policies for human resource activities.
  • Acts as an internal consultant by analyzing and recommending solutions to human resource issues relating to the assigned projects
  • Develops, revises and implements HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensures compliance with established policies and procedures and with any relevant federal, state or local legislation.
  • Prepares and maintains special internal and external reports as requested.
  • Answers requests for information on policy interpretation.
  • Assists with developing, coordinating and recommending changes for the improvement of workflow in WorkDay.
  • Develops methods and procedures for compiling and analyzing data for reports and special projects.
  • Conducts periodic audits of human resource activities to ensure compliance with laws, policies and procedures.
  • Works on special projects.
  • May occasionally lead special and cross-functional project teams.
  • May assist with training sessions related to special projects.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Compensation: $89K - $112K & bonus eligible (national average, premium markets may vary)
