Job Purpose:
RWS is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Operations Lead to oversee our HR delivery teams, particularly in managing onboarding, offboarding and ensuring operational excellence in a highly volatile environment in our TrainAI business. This role is pivotal in driving process improvements, enhancing team performance, and providing crisis management leadership. This position requires a systematic and process-oriented approach, superior analytical strength, attention to detail, good written and verbal communication, and the ability to synthesize moving parts to drive the business forward. The role demands a strong sense of urgency, the ability to influence and make sound judgement calls, and willingness to roll up your sleeves. The individual will need to effectively work with TrainAI leadership, data services, finance, and IT. The right candidate for the role will be data-driven, must be able to thrive and succeed in an ever-changing environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities.
A day in the life of this role would look like a blend of tactical and strategical work, requiring you to dive in to get today’s job done while looking around corners to solve for the future. This role is critical to the success of our major revenue stream, TrainAI.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years of management experience
- 5+ years of HR operations or program/project management experience
- Experience in HR shared services, IT services, and/or operations
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning end to end delivery in highly volatile environment
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Strong crisis management skills with a track record of effectively handling high-pressure situations.
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies and root cause analysis techniques.
- Exceptional team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
- Understanding of systems and technology; HR experience is desired but not essential.
- Ability to work in the US time zones while also collaborating with India colleagues
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage the HR operations teams in the United States and work with team in India, ensuring efficient operations to help the business scale
- Collaborate regularly with the client, working with IT and cross functional teams to resolve issues
- Own entire People Services processes, including onboarding and offboarding
- Implement process improvements and conduct root cause analysis to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Serve as a main POC for operations teams, while you develop and maintain crisis management strategies to swiftly address and resolve operational challenges escalated by the internal and external customers.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment through effective management and mentorship.
- Utilize a strong understanding of systems to streamline processes; HR systems experience is preferred.
- Analyze performance metrics and develop actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
