JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Operations Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our HR functions, leading and mentoring the HR operations team, and driving continuous improvement in our processes. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for people and operational excellence.
Location - The ideal candidate will be based in New York or Reston.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR operations or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR processes and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and Lead the HR Operations, AMS Team:
  • Provide guidance, support, and development opportunities to team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
  • Manage HR Tickets in a Timely Manner:
  • Oversee the HR ticketing system to ensure all inquiries and issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
  • Track and report on ticket resolution metrics.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):
  • Create, update, and maintain SOPs for all HR processes to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Train team members on new and existing SOPs.
  • Identify Process Improvements:
  • Continuously evaluate HR processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead and Participate in HR Projects:
  • Manage and contribute to various HR projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Ensure Compliance:
  • Ensure all HR activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes affecting HR operations.
  • Collaborate Across Departments:
  • Work closely with other departments to align HR initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between HR and other teams.
  • Lead the Wellness Initiative:
  • Develop and implement wellness programs to promote employee health and well-being.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of wellness initiatives and make adjustments as needed.
  • Monitor the Visa Process:
  • Oversee the visa application and renewal process for employees.
  • Ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations.
