HR Operations Specialist is a new position in our team responsible for our people processes and procedures. The position will independently drive people processes and administration, guide and support employee lifecycle activities, own and manage HR administration & systems, and act as a point of contact for employees and managers on employment related matters.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience with operative HR
  • Experience with payroll administration
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
  • Experience with administrating HCM systems
  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Structured, thorough, and reliable
  • Curious, inquisitive, and proactive
  • Collaborative and capable of building strong relationships
  • Fluent in English and a Scandinavian language
  • Experience with Confluence would be an advantage

Responsibilities:

  • Independently drive payroll processes and administration for our offices in Norway, Sweden and Denmark (through a vendor, presently BDO)
  • Own our HCM system “Passion for People”, and drive the digitization of HR to enable us to scale along with the business
  • Oversee and optimize the day-to-day operations and processes, such as benefits administration, employee records, and systems
  • Drive and optimize collaboration with HR providers within payroll, pension, insurance, benefits, and others
  • Ensure that we have fair, consistent, and compliant policies that promote a positive and respectful work environment
  • Handle complex and sensitive employee issues and provide guidance and support to managers and employees
  • Ensure that we comply with all relevant employment laws and regulations in the countries where we are to operate and mitigate any potential risks and liabilities related to our People policies
