POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a colleague to support our managers in the Private Seniors’ Residences (RPA) division in an advisory role in human resources management. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, RPA Division and in collaboration with his colleagues and internal clients, the HR Partner carries out program implementation activities such as workforce planning, compensation management, performance management and the application of policies and standards. He acts as an advisor, ensuring the implementation of best practices in human resources.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, industrial relations or other related discipline;
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a generalist role in human resources (including unionized labor relations);
- Excellent command of labor laws and regulations;
- Any other combination of studies and experience deemed relevant will be considered;
- Being a member of the Order of CRHA/CRIA, an asset;
- Very good experience in a consulting role and in the deployment of an internal service offering;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite software;
- Oral and written bilingualism.
Responsibilities:
- Advise and support managers in matters of remuneration, absence management and health and safety at work;
- Advise and support the managers assigned to him/her on all questions relating to company policies, labor relations, labor laws and standards, and human resources management;
- Answer employee questions regarding existing programs;
- Any other related tasks.
- Draft various documents related to workforce movements and performance management;
- Participate in the design and implementation of human resources projects and solutions;
- Support the process of negotiating collective agreements etc.;
