We are a leading multinational natural gas company committed to providing Natural Gas and Hydrogen worldwide. With a strong presence in Brazil, we are expanding our operations and seeking a skilled Payroll LATAM SME to join our team and oversee payroll operations specifically for our Brazilian workforce. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our growth and ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing for our employees in Brazil. As a Payroll LATAM SME, you will play a vital role in managing and optimizing our Brazil payroll operations and implementation project. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll, contributing in the current implementation project and migration with STRADA (Payroll vendor), adherence to local labor laws and regulations, and seamless coordination with internal stakeholders. This position requires in-depth knowledge of Brazilian payroll processes, strong analytical capabilities, and excellent communication skills.
The main responsabilities of the position are;
- Manage end-to-end payroll operations for our Brazilian employees, including data entry, calculations, and processing of payroll in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing, including wage calculations, bonuses, commissions, and deductions, while adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Provide local payroll input to configure MyHR based on local requirements.
- Stay updated on changes in Brazilian labor laws, tax regulations, social security contributions, and other payroll-related legislation to ensure compliance and implement necessary updates in payroll processes.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and the BSC departments to ensure accurate employee data, smooth integration of systems, and effective resolution of payroll-related issues.
- Eventually Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, tax withholdings, and deductions, providing exceptional customer service and resolving concerns promptly.
- Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure data integrity, identifying and rectifying discrepancies or errors promptly.
- Generate payroll reports, including tax reports, benefits reports, and other relevant analytics, to support management decision-making and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in the implementation of payroll system enhancements and process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in payroll operations.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and security of payroll data, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and internal policies.
- Ensure delivery of services in accordance with agreed performance levels (KPI) and in line with legal/regulations (compliance).
- Deliver services in a timely and accurate manner according to the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure service delivery is in accordance and adhering to all compliance and audit requirements.
- Review, monitor and implement processes and procedures to achieve optimal team workflow to ensure timely delivery of services.
- Drive improvement activities or projects to deliver service excellence and the best customer experience.
- Identify trends in incidents and services requests raised for continuous improvement consideration.
- Guide, train and coach team members with daily activities and projects to ensure high quality services delivery.
- Maintain good understanding of the business units in the context of Air Liquide and external market trends/pressures.
- Analyze and review new service requests to determine impact and make recommendations to the leadership team.
- Collaborate effectively with other teams to ensure an integrated approach to HR service delivery.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders (customers, vendors, etc).
