Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an HR/Payroll Specialist to join our team in ENGLEWOOD, Colorado. As an HR/Payroll Specialist, you will be primarily handling our payroll needs using Asure software for a team of approximately 50 employees. Additionally, you will also be required to perform a collection of light HR duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process and record the company’s payroll data and issue paychecks using Asure Software
  • Ensure all payroll transactions are processed and reconciled efficiently in compliance with company policies and federal and state laws
  • Address payroll related inquiries and employment verification requests
  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs such as health insurance, pension plans, vacation, and sick leave
  • Participate in the recruitment process by posting job ads, gathering information on new applicants, contacting references and informing employees of their hiring status
  • Maintain and update employee records to ensure accuracy and confidentiality
  • Contribute to organizing company HR functions and staff events
  • Conduct audits of payroll, benefits, and other HR programs
  • Stay current with the latest HR trends and best practices.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HR/Payroll Specialist or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
  • Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
  • Experience with Ceridian and Dayforce software
  • Familiarity with Benefit Functions
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of compliance regulations within HR and payroll
  • Proven experience in Employee Relations
  • Knowledge and experience in managing Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
