KEY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role, with a strong understanding of HR best practices and employment law.
  • Exposure to and knowledge of a diverse range of HR specialities including learning & development, remuneration, industrial relations, recruitment, succession planning, resource planning and change management
  • Experience in Workday is advantageous
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience in managing organisational change
  • Demonstrated experience implementing new systems and developing policies to support the transition.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analysing, prioritising and responding proactively to business unit needs related to People and providing feedback to management on recommendations for improvement
  • Delivering operational support and guidance to business leaders, supervisors & employees on employee relations/counselling, performance management, job design, remuneration and benefits, organisational change management, recruitment, job evaluations, awards, compliance, health & safety, employee development and succession planning
  • Researching issues and developing recommendations to resolve Line Management issues
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of People services and continually looking for ways to improve
  • Focusing on driving high performance and accountability for people initiatives / programs across the business
  • Being a positive and proactive participant in national People initiatives and work in alignment with the business
  • Providing a confidential and trusted channel for employee advice, queries, concerns and issues
  • Undertaking site and national reporting as required
