HR People Partner, Retail & Consumer – Melbourne
The Opportunity
Reporting to a Senior People Partner, this role is pivotal in providing exceptional customer service to the Leadership Teams across various Retail and Consumer Distribution Centres. This is a true generalist role where you will drive a positive impact across all aspects of a team member’s life cycle and partner with People Leaders to ensure their people objectives are met.

As the HR People Partner, you will:

  • Support the timely execution of people activities across the distribution centres ensuring alignment to business priorities.
  • Manage ER/IR issues end to end, providing advice, consultation and coaching to the business on relevant policies and industrial instruments.
  • Conduct workplace investigations & resolves disputes and grievances.
  • Support the development of project plans and executing on initiatives that support the broader Retail and Consumer People Plan.
  • Provide advice and support to managers with Workday tasks as required.
  • Facilitate some training programs to lift People Leader capability and ownership for HR processes and practices

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Tertiary education in Human Resources, Business, Law or Psychology.
  • Working knowledge of the industrial legislation and employment law matters
  • Working knowledge of HRIS systems & Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong case management skills with an eye for detail
