Description:
NextStar Energy (NSE) is a joint venture between LG Energy Solution and Stellantis. NextStar Energy will be Canada’s first large-scale lithium-ion battery production plant when it begin production at the site on over 200-acres of land on Twin Oaks Drive near Banwell Road.
The manufacturing facility is targeted to have an annual production capacity in excess of 49 gigawatt hours and will create an estimated 2,500 new jobs in Windsor and the surrounding areas.
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Planning Specialist to join our Human Resources Team.
The NextStar Energy HR Team is actively working on developing HR strategies that align with the company’s mid- to long-term strategic goals and the evolving business environment. Our focus includes designing effective organizational structures and strategically managing key talents.
In particular, the HR Team is dedicated to implementing a fair and objective performance evaluation policy. This initiative aims to motivate our employees by providing a transparent and equitable framework for assessing their contributions to the company. We believe that a well-defined performance evaluation process is instrumental in fostering a positive work culture and aligning individual efforts with the broader success of NextStar Energy.
Through these efforts, we are committed to ensuring that our HR practices not only meet the current needs of the organization but also contribute to its long-term growth and prosperity.
- Establish and perform company-wide employees’ evaluation by using Success Factors platform (e.g. goal setting, mid-term feed-back, year-end evaluation)
- In connection with goal achievement and strategic execution, conduct organizational design management and clarify role and responsibility of the unit organization
- Establish and perform promotion policy
- Conduct core talent management by selecting high performance group and establishing retention plan for them
- Perform other HR-related administrative tasks ordered by leadership group
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is a related field
- 3+ years HR experiences (Especially, HR Planning tasks)
- Strong MS Office tool-based report writing (by using Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and oral communication skills
- Ability to work well with individuals and teams across the company to achieve team goals and targets
- Computational Skill, Troubleshooting, Problem-solving, Statistical knowledge
