Description:
We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an HR Project Manager in the wholesale industry located in Portland, Oregon. As an HR Project Manager, you will primarily focus on developing HR policies and procedures, defining roles and responsibilities, and acting as an intermediary in conflict situations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies, including staff complaint procedures and anti-discrimination policies.
- Establish clear protocols for contacting the board and handling complaints.
- Define the roles and responsibilities of the floor manager and the general manager.
- Act as an intermediary between different levels of staff and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Implement conflict resolution strategies and mediate conflicts when necessary.
- Maintain and update the employee handbook including complaint procedures.
- Utilize ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now for HR management.
- Use Core HR and EHR SYSTEM for efficient employee management.
- Communicate effectively with all staff and use About Time software for effective time management.
- Manage benefit functions and budget processes while ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the HR sector.
- Proficient in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now.
- Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of Core HR practices and EHR SYSTEM.
- Prior experience with ‘About Time’ software will be advantageous.
- Understanding of Benefit Functions within an HR context.
- Experience in managing Budget Processes within the HR domain.
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure Compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
