QUALIFICATIONS OF AN IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Enjoy talking with and recruiting excellent potential candidates
  • Technically proficient a must
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent internal and external customer service skills
  • Certification in Human Resources a plus
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant work experience in an HR department
  • Skills in presenting to various audiences
  • Adept with technology and oral/written communications
  • Knowledgeable and skilled in using job posting sites and resources
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Skilled in using computer software applications such as Microsoft Office, Paycor experience a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail required

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract high performers
  • Actively recruit, post positions on internal and external job boards, build applicant sources and screen qualified candidates
  • Assist with the interviewing process, manage job offers, and collaborate with hiring managers to efficiently meet staffing objectives
  • Ensure hiring workflows are optimal for successful onboarding and orientation
  • Demonstrate cultural competency
  • Outstanding retention analysis and planning skills
  • Flexibility to complete hands-on HR Generalist duties as needed
  • Follow agency protocols and meet HR documentation compliance
  • Utilize computer and appropriate HR software for documentation and reporting
  • Track unemployment and workers compensation
  • Travel to various locations as needed
  • Assist Chief Human Resource Officer with employee relations and employee performance systems
