Description:

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an HR Recruiter in the manufacturing industry, located in Sparks, Nevada. The HR Recruiter will play a crucial role in managing the recruitment process and establishing relationships with candidates, while understanding business and cultural nuances.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategically manage and deliver all recruiting activities for the manufacturing facility
  • Support hiring managers throughout the recruiting process
  • Design sourcing strategies to discover both passive and active candidates
  • Screen resumes to identify potential matches and target the most qualified candidates
  • Facilitate candidate/client interviews and prepare candidates for the interview process
  • Participate in recruiting events such as career fairs and special functions
  • Maintain a continuous network to identify potential candidates
  • Apply a detailed understanding of business needs to better identify candidates that match client needs
  • Consult with hiring managers to determine detailed, job-specific qualifications
  • Monitor and track application status and evaluate outstanding hiring issues to facilitate the hiring process
  • Conduct resume/credential reviews and pre-screen candidates as appropriate to position requirements
  • Use creative search techniques to locate applicable candidates and maintain an effective pool of candidates.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a HR Recruiter role or similar position
  • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
  • Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
  • Experience using Careerbuilder and CRM systems
  • Knowledge of About Time software
  • Experience in operating Applicant Track System
  • Ability to conduct thorough Background Checks
  • Understanding of Benefit Functions and related processes
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
  • Proven expertise in sourcing and attracting candidates
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Proven ability to work within a team and build relationships with internal departments.
