You will support the HR Department with a broad range of HR and recruitment tasks. Your role will involve ensuring the smooth operation of the department and providing services to the HR Director, while also collaborating with Nursing Home managers and employees on all HR-related matters.
This position is a permanent, full time. We will not be accepting overseas applications at this time.

Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure all HR functions comply with Irish employment law requirements.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance to management and employees on policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of staff-related data, ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act.
  • Serve as a point of contact for daily HR queries.
  • Support the Recruitment Executive with the recruitment process, both local and overseas.
  • Conduct training needs analysis and assist in creating an annual training plan.
  • Manage and implement the online training system, Altura.
  • Coordinate mandatory and non-mandatory training for Nursing Home employees.
  • Monitor the induction, training, and development progress of employees.
  • Stay informed about best practices, standards, and legislative guidelines in healthcare delivery

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A degree or diploma in Human Resource Management or a related discipline is desirable.
  • A postgraduate qualification is not required but beneficial, with various HR/IR courses at postgraduate certificate, diploma, and/or master’s level being advantageous.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Over 1 years experience in administration, preferably within an HR context.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective and professional working relationships.
  • Proficiency in MS Office packages.
  • Knowledge of general office practices and procedures.
