Description:
- Location: Pacekids’ North (808 55 Ave NE Calgary)
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm, Hybrid in office and work from home
Responsibilities:
- Provide consultation to managers and staff members on issues related to workplace relations, performance management, policies, procedures, and legislation
- Provide support with the performance evaluation process as needed
- Advise as requested on internal HR matters
- Build and roll out HR related initiatives, as needed
- Conduct exit interviews and complete exit interview reports
- Conduct and advise on matters related to termination of employment
- Conduct workplace investigations
- Assist with bi-annual compensation review
- Participate and contribute to program team meetings as requested
- Participate in the administration, development, and maintenance of policies and procedures
- Leads or supports HR initiatives and projects identified in annual HR Planning and objective setting
- Support full cycle recruitment, including posting to external job boards, post secondaries, attending job fairs, and monitoring recruitment trends/data
- Onboarding of new staff, including preparing new hire packages and other correspondence pertaining to their employment
- Administration of benefits program including additions, changes, and terminations from the program
- Draft correspondence including offer letters, contracts, disciplinary action letters, employment letters, or other correspondence pertaining to employment
- Provide support on other HR related projects as needed contributing to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices
- Maintenance and improvement of internal Staff Member Microsoft Sharepoint website
- Contribute to ongoing HRIS refinement and implementation projects
