There are currently 114 McDonald’s restaurants in Belgium, run by 23 independent entrepreneurs (Franchisees).
Because our business is growing fast-paced, we are looking for talented people to reinforce our head offices that provide support to all restaurants.
About the job
In this exciting role you are part of the People team at McDonald’s Restaurants Belgium HQ and you will report in the first phase into the Chief People Officer.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Support Talent Attraction for our Headquarters including ATS management & candidate selection;
  • Support Onboarding and Off boarding processes;
  • Monthly payroll of McDonald’s Belgium HQ;
  • Organizing employee engagement events & teambuilding activities;
  • Providing all-round administrative HR support for HQ
  • HR services governance and compliance
  • Provides support for HR services and policies
  • The first point of contact for HR related questions.
  • Collect and consolidates HR related research and analysis
  • Provides support to Chief People Officer and team on HR issues/activities

About you now

To be able to thrive in this role, we believe you need to master:

  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management / Business Management/ (Social) Law or similar;
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Belgian Payroll and HR administration;
  • A profound knowledge of Belgian Social (security) Laws;
  • Fluency in Dutch and French and a good level in English;
  • A discrete and pragmatic approach and professional attitude at all times;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • The talent to thrive as part of a team while functioning autonomously at the same time;
  • Ability to adapt to a constantly evolving business and work environment
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Publisher).
