Description:
THIS VACANCY IS OPEN TO EMPLOYEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NOTTINGHAM ONLY.
We are looking to appoint two HR Shared Services Assistants to join our friendly and supportive HR Shared Services team. This is customer focused role and your main responsibilities will be the administration of the employee life cycle and advisory support to all staff across the university on numerous HR activities; this will include dealing with customers over the phone and via email.

To be successful you will be able to demonstrate your high levels of attention to detail and accuracy and have experience in a data entry or administrative role. You will need to be resilient and comfortable working with high volume requests, as well as being adaptable and a good problem solver, actively looking for opportunities to improve our service for customers and our processes.
We are looking for someone who shares our passion for excellent customer service and who is a strong team player. You must have a positive, pro-active approach to your work, show flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills.
You will need to have GCSEs in English and Math (C/4 or above) or equivalent.
What can we offer you?
- A hybrid working arrangement with blended approach of office and home working each week.
- As a University we are committed to providing generous employment packages whilst supporting the well-being of our staff to help you reach your full potential.
- As a University employee, you will have an excellent choice of benefits and rewards, including access to fitness and health facilities, staff discount and travel schemes, along with 27 days’ holiday allowance (plus additional University closure days) and a highly attractive pension scheme.
