HR Shared Services Specialist Payroll – Looking for a numerical role where your attention to detail and problem-solving skills can truly make a difference? As a HR Shared Services Specialist you ensure a timely and accurate processing of our international payroll. You will collaborate closely with internal and external partners to process payroll, provide guidance on HR-topics and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in our organization.

1-5 years of relevant work experience in payroll, related processes, administrative requirements and best practices. Preferably in an international payroll setting.

  • Technical skills:
  • Good understanding of employment and social law principles, as well as Social Security and income tax.
  • Fluency in English and German; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with SuccessFactors is preferred.
  • Competencies, Behavioral skills:
  • Demonstrate a strong interest in payroll and possess numerical and analytical skills.
  • Effectively report and communicate with finance departments, external partners such as payroll providers and government organizations, while maintaining a personable approach and building constructive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Responsible and organized, eye for detail, accurate and quality-focused.
  • Able to cope under stress, to take initiative and a problem-solving mindset

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

In this role, you’ll be a key player in payroll processes and will deliver a high level of service and expertise. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

  • Actively contribute to end-to-end payroll processing, primarily for our international operations, together with external partners.
  • Act as primary point of contact and provide guidance on HR-related matters such as maternity- and sickness leave, contracts & payroll issues.
  • Participate in HR-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Efficiently manage and organize administrative tasks related to the employee lifecycle, while ensuring that all employee documentation is accurate and up-to-date in our HR system.
  • Provide support for international and expatriate personnel files and payroll, single permit requests, audits, tax matters, pension funds, and more.
  • Prepare and deliver reports for management, internal and external partners.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • Level of education & Knowledge:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, HR or a related field.

  • Experience in general:
