  • Bachelors degree in Business/HR/ Management or related field required
  • 3+ years Human Resources experience preferred
  • Tech savvy; highly proficient at Microsoft office
  • Strong understanding of the full life cycle recruiting process
  • Team player with flexibility to accommodate different personalities and work styles as well as confidence to manage interactions and expectations at all levels of the organization
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Ability to prioritize while handling multiple time-sensitive projects
  • Passion for people, team building, and culture
  • Outstanding organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-starter who works well without constant supervision
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, and deal with professionals inside and outside the company

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Human Resource Specialist ensures smooth and efficient day-to-day human resource operations of the organization. This position involves a variety of functions including recruitment, onboarding, payroll and benefits administration, and routine maintenance of the organization’s human resource policies and practices.
This is a hybrid position located in Alpharetta, GA.

YOUR TASKS

· Support human resources recruitment efforts (ensure open positions are posted online in a timely manner, coordinate applicant processing and tracking, review and screen resumes/applicants, schedule interviews, ensure all appropriate assessments, background checks, drug screens, etc. are completed)· Provide general HR administrative support as needed

  • Assist and collaborate with payroll, handle employment verification responses, digitize all paper employee files, and help maintain employee records within the HRIS platform ensuring accuracy and timely maintenance of information
  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management
  • Manage employee onboarding, including preparing new hire paperwork, facilitating orientation sessions, and ensuring understanding of company policies and procedures.
  • Help to shape the corporate culture and define expectations in a manner that is consistent with the company’s mission, vision, values, and objectives
  • Develop, recommend, implement, and drive initiatives to enhance employee experience to drive business results (such as staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings…)
  • Proactively build relationships with employees, clients, and vendor partners, gaining trust and establishing credibility
  • Support or facilitate Global HR training courses
  • Provide advice, counsel, and support for interpretation, application, compliance of applicable State and Federal laws, and company policies
  • Provide insights, observations, and support for reporting and metrics related to HR projects and initiatives
  • Create, maintain, and track project plans for any HR initiatives
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, enhancing team efficiency, and effectiveness
